Brigitta Strand
Brigitta is a graduate of UC Berkeley's business school, and is a CPA with a Master's Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University. She has worked with businesses, individuals, trusts and estates for over 25 years. She thoroughly enjoys the challenges of our tax system and helping her clients find solutions to the problems they encounter, find ways to implement the interesting ideas they come up with, and plan for the growth of their businesses and their own financial future.
Although tax season does infringe on her favorite sport (skiing), the rest of the year is wide open for traveling and hiking. Gardening on the weekends and attempting to learn to play golf (the greatest game on the planet, according to her husband) fills what is left of her free time.

Kelly O’Shaughnessy
Kelly is a graduate of Holy Names University in Oakland, California and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. She is a certified public accountant in the state of California and Texas. Kelly joined SBO in 1988. She has worked with businesses and individuals focusing on their accounting and tax needs for over 25 years. In her free time, she enjoys running, tennis, and cycling.

Connie Paris
Connie joined SBO in January 2020 bringing her office organizational skills and friendly demeanor. She is eager to assist clients as well as our staff; always with a positive attitude. Connie is a Notary Public. When out of the office, she enjoys the Contra Costa Canal Trail on her electric-assist bicycle.

Sandra Mohun
Sandra is a graduate of California State University, Chico and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California. Sandy joined SBO in 2006. She has worked with businesses and individuals focusing on their accounting and tax needs for over 25 years. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, spending time with her family, and wine tasting in the Napa Valley.

Sandi Johnson
Sandi is a graduate of UC Davis holding a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics. She also attended California State University, Hayward where she completed the requirements for a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California. Sandi joined SBO in 2013. She has worked with businesses and individuals focusing on their tax needs for over 25 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and volunteering.

Roxanne Marek
Roxanne is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting. Roxy joined SBO in 2015. She has worked with businesses, individuals, and non-profit organizations for over 10 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling with her husband, staying fit with Zumba, reading mystery novels, and wine tasting.

Cristine Lemler
Cristine is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with concentrations in both Accounting and Finance. She is a licensed CPA having worked in the tax departments at both regional and local CPA firms. Cristine joined SBO in 2017. In her free time, Cristine enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter, traveling, hiking, trying new restaurants, and wine tasting wherever possible.

Mahsa Ghadiri
Mahsa is a graduate of Azad University in Iran with a Bachelor’s degree in German Language. After immigrating to the United States, she had the opportunity to work for a tax preparer, which sparked her interest in both accounting and tax work. She has received on the job training in accounting and tax preparation, and is completing her training to get a bookkeeper certification. She enjoys challenging projects that require her to use her problem solving skills and self-sufficiency. When out of the office she keeps her mind active by playing Sudoku. She loves to travel and has visited 20 countries.

Kathy Barberi
Kathy joined SBO in February of 2021 and brings her organizational and efficiency skills to provide administrative support to the entire SBO team. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family enjoying water activities at the beach or hiking and skiing in the mountains.
